last monday, my friends and i gathered together at my place for some fun! hehe. we played all sorts of games..... *i was craving for board games* weird huh? but my best friend was too! so we planned it out together and called a few friends. they agreed! yay~ woohoo.... i was extremely excited. XD
i'm a girl that simply enjoys playing board games. unfortunately, i don't have any. ironic isn't it? i used to have an original monopoly set. but that was yyyyyeeeeaaaaaarrrrsssss ago and i think it's gone now.. so yeah, i don't have a single board game. *sadcase*
however, both of my best friends do.. so we went over to Ann Gee's place and chose a few games. =) they were four-in-a-row, jenga, twister, scrabble... i think that's about it. she tried finding for taboo but it just decided to go MIA. *she was err.. dissatisfied* according to Ann Gee, taboo is a really nice game. since we couldn't find taboo, we prepared win-lose-or-draw and charades instead. other than that, Joyce brought over her monopoly set. it's some Singaporean edition. but it's still monopoly. so it works for me. *smiles widely*
8.00pm was the time we were suppose to meet. but as usual, we set it early because you know la.. we are all Malaysians, right? XP no one arrived on time of course. but Wilson is one of the most punctual person i've ever known. he was ready at 8pm but i told him that the rest will be late. at around 8.15 - 8.30pm, he arrived. since there were only two of us, we decided to play, four-in-a-row and jenga. wweeeeeee......... jenga roxx! =)
this was our 1st round of jenga. L.O.L.z
later, the rest came and we started playing twister!! for those of you who don't know, it's also known as the "sexy game". why? because as the game goes on... you might end up being tangled with another person or errr.. end up in different types of odd positions, comfortable or uncomfortable, etc etc.
here... let me show you! *ta da*

see what i mean? =P
the girls were defeated. and it's the battle between the two men.
who will be the last man standing?

moving on..... we played win-lose-or-draw and charades. man, i thought i can't draw! i really can't. but i realized that even the best artist of the night was drawing terribly! haha. bet it's because of the time limit, adrenaline rush, kan-cheong-ness and etc etc. too bad i don't have any pictures of this game. but i can help by providing you with a few examples. i'm pretty sure you'll get a rough idea of what i mean. hehe. that night, an owl looked like a face, a monkey looked like a teddy bear, a rat looked like an insect... *swt* we laughed sooo hard.
last but not least, we played monopoly! to cut the whole story short... Joyce's our banker, Ann Gee's the fugitive who always end up in jail, Christopher was the richest man in the game, Wilson's the guy who always end up in some MRT station owned by Ann Gee and i am the person who had very little properties but owned the most expensive navy blue lands. [Eu Shen went home after playing win-lose-or-draw and charades] i started out the poorest because i kept on paying my income tax (so sui la me...). but as the game goes on, i managed to catch up with the little pieces of land that i owned. soon after, Ann Gee couldn't pay up her rent so she sold everything she had to me instead of selling them to Joyce. which made the game more interesting. hehe. we don't know who's the real winner because it was already 2.30am and we should stop. so we did. @_@
i really had a GREAT time. im sure you all did too. thank you sooo much (Ann Gee, Christopher, Eu Shen, Joyce & Wilson) !!! let's do it again some other time, alright? really look forward for a next time. ^_^
