CHICKENED OUT!

yes! i did.. nothing to do with my fears or phobias or wat-so-ever, but....
oh well, here's the story~

i registered a subject entitled Children's Literature this semester as my elective paper. it sounds interesting and even though i know it might be tough, i just wanted to give it a try. so yeah, i went for the 1st class yesterday and i decided to drop the subject. ok... actually, i dropped the subject right after the class when i had the chance to. then, i took up a different elective paper. hahaha. so much for trying... >___<

"why?? christine... why??? why did you drop the subject?", some of you might ask. i'll tell you why. the class was fine. and it was kinda interesting. but :
1. my england is so powderful (as you all know)
2. too many assignments (why the extra burden?)
3. the lecturer is NOT lenient with her marks (i can't let her ruin my CGPA)
4. the other students (most of them are studying English Literature!!)

fine.... call me "kiasu"~ L.O.L.z
but i do plan on what subjects that i should be taking. this is the 1st time i dropped a subject and replaced it with another. yes, it's that bad! because when i found out about no.4, i totally lost confidence in tackling the subject. so, i chose NOT to risk all my previous effort. smart? i don't know. but i have no regrets. ^_^

Pros of the new subject registered :
1. it's 2 credit hours instead of 3 (yes! less 1 credit hour this sem..)
2. many seniors recommanded this subject (why? apparently it's pretty easy to score)
3. the seniors also said that it's nice and interesting

p/s : i'm happy. reduced my stress level. cannot imagine if i didn't drop the Children's Literature subject. XP
