f i n g e r p r i n t s

today, in my science class, we were discussing about the science centre. then, somehow we came to the topic about forensic science and before we know it... we were talking about fingerprints. the few basic types, their classification and meaning (?!). something like who's artistic, potential criminals and etc. goodness~

well, one of my friend, Lai Ting was looking at my fingerprints because i couldn't identify a few of them. she then later mentioned that i've got the "peacock's eye". apparently it's rare or shall i say, uncommon. she knows a little about fingerprints because she went to some dylexia centre and they were setting up some new program. it has something to do with DNA and fingerprints. she also said that on the 13th week, while our brain is being formed, so is our fingerprints. hence, studies said that most probably there are connections between our fingerprints and our talents.

i don't know how true is all the above. but i came home and googled about the fingerprint classification and especially "peacock's eye". this is what i've found :
