he looks like this :
when we came back from Penang, poor baby Oreo was already very sick.
we were told that he has not been eating for 2 days.
we got really worried because of his unusual lethargic behaviour and weak limbs.
he can't hop or even walk properly.
i wanted to rush him to a vet so badly but not all vets can handle rabbits.
i made a few calls but failed to get a vet expert in rabbits.
during the late hours. or even emergency clinics.
torturously, i had to wait till morning.
next morning, i rushed my dear rabbit there.
i went to my dog's vet.
he tried all he could.
unfortunately, he was not good enough.
this morning, i made more phone calls to various vet clinics.
i know that his condition is quite serious and it has worsened.
he needs immediate attention.
so, i went to another clinic and.....
i had to leave him there. =(
i am at home, tired, worried, and moodless.
waiting patiently for further information.
the best anyone can do right now is to pray.
the prognosis :
yesterday, we found a few maggots in his fur.
i really don't know why they were there.
but it definitely happened when he was under the care of my dad's worker.
meaning, it happened recently.
baby Oreo needs a miracle.
as long as the maggots didn't burrow into his flesh, nerves or anywhere else in his body..
he still has a chance of survival.
but for now, i know his chances are really very slim.
other than that, his front right leg showed partial paralysis last night.
i am freaking WORRIED.
but i can't do anything about it.
only God can help him now. >_<
the vet that attended to him this morning just called me a few minutes ago.
apparently, his has a very serious skin inflammation.
we are not sure whether it is caused by toxins secreted by the maggots.
or something else.
but what we know so far is that...
she didn't see any maggots inside of Oreo.
thank God.
p/s : i'm still waiting for goodnews or a miracle. please help Oreo. =(

oh dear! :( i'm so sorry this happened to oreo. but i thank God he's got such a caring owner fighting for him!
he needs not just medical attention, but also loads and loads of tenderlovingcare. Hang in there girl! he'll be well again!
i hope so.
cause it's really painful for him.
and rabbits are really prone to stress.
so he might just give up..
>___<
His condition seems very very very bad... ***Praying hard*** Haha... Hope it works...
yea. prayer works.
believe in the power of prayer.
=)
but he didn't eat the whole day already..
so, it's not a very good sign.
>.<
sigh. i'm sorry to hear that.
my deepest condolences*
My puppy died a few months ago due to unknown virus attack to his kidneys. He didnt eat for a couple of days, and when i forced him to drink a bit of water, he will be puking all out after 10minutes.
he was admited into UPM Vet Clinic for a day and he died just the next day before i could even arrive to see him -
you know i was just at the main entrance when UPM called me to convey the bad news.
I was holding the phone and crying while walking into the 'ward'.
Sigh.
I hope you can be strong.
It may take some time, but i'm sure baby oreo lives in our hearts forever.
Hugs.
