today was the Amazing Kids Graduation Day for all the children! the event was a great success and i am truly happy about it. however, something awkward was told to me while everyone was enjoying the refreshments. it's indeed something flattering but uneasy and disturbing at the same time. because it was said by a child's father. i don't know whether it meant anything or otherwise.
Mr. X: I'm gonna miss you, Christine.
(notice that he said I instead of WE, the child is going to an international school next year.)
Me: haha. don't worry. you guys can always come back for a visit!
Mr. X: I noticed that there are lots of praises about you on the children's learning story. they really missed you when you were away.
(he meant during my practicals when i was away for two months.)
Me: *laughs and smiles*
Mr. X: I also miss your braces.
(OMG! he remembered about my braces? come to think of it, he was the first to notice when i first took it off.)
p/s: can guys my age be attracted to me, already? gosh.
