yes... no matter how much they have grown, they are still my little sisters and i watch over them! =) even though at times they can really get on my nerves or drive me up the wall, it's pretty obvious that they do look up to me. that's all i ever need from them - r e s p e c t. it's difficult to earn one's respect or trust. however, when you've earned it, cherish it with all your heart. do NOT do anything foolish that might ruin the precious relationship that you've built. and i mean any type of relationships - between parents and children, between friends, siblings.. etc.
yesterday, i fetched my little sisters back from their extra class on Saturday (the poor dears). then we went to Focus Point, Taipan. the elder twin, Katherine needed a new pair of glasses. or at least a new frame. the previous one kinda caused her to have some skin irritation as there was chemical reaction between her sweat and the steel frame. so, i asked the optician whether there was any warranty as we just bought her glasses on February. the lady wasn't very helpful as she told me the only option we had was to get her a new pair. "as if i don't know she needed a new pair!".
i didn't want to be mean but i had no choice but to practise customer's rights after i spoke to my father about the issue. we were both very unhappy with the service. then, i simply told the lady... "i'm not very happy with the service and you "professionals" should have advised us earlier about this when we bought it in the first place. please ask your manager or supervisor what you can do about the problem right now or i'll just go to another shop". *lolz* i feel so guilty after doing it. but i know i can't be too nice. i'll get stomped all over. and get scolded for being too nice. a g a i n.
guess what? the lady came back with good news. XD we chose a frame that could fit Katherine's previous lenses that cost RM299 but we only needed to pay RM102. i was satisfied. better than nothing, right? *smiles widely* and to our surprise, the glasses did not come alone...
today, after watching Alice Academy or Gakuen Alice (an anime) with my little sisters on Animax, my mother ordered me to help my little sister, Katrina (the youngest in the family) to wash her hair. oh, don't me wrongly! she's 12 and should be able to wash her hair on her own. yes yes, i know.. but my mom ORDERED me to as Katrina has too much dandruff on her hair and my mom believes that with a proper hair wash, the problem shouldn't persist. so i did. kinda fun actually. and i'm sure, this will be one of the moments that i'll remember forever. =)
i love my little sisters. *hugs*
