are you being biased, unconsciously?

sometimes i feel that.. just because i am not _______ (up to you to fill in a name of a person), i am treated differently. perhaps, we should TRY our best to treat everyone in the same manner. i understand... maybe, you are closer to that person and etc. if you wish to go the extra mile, possibly you could display your affection, gratitude, and etc. between or among the people who are involved only? well, i don't know. probably, i am just being overly-sensitive. BUT how about you? have you been on the same boat as i?
